Just met my first #glasshole in person
Asked him why he was wearing them
He said he'd "the feeling he needs them" because you can hear music with them ¯\(°_o)/¯
And saw no problem with #privacy at all - from what he'd said he didn't know the concept...
Got a bit pissed that I asked him, bc he saw it as "his decision" & "freedom" to wear a piece of surveillance tech in his face
How do you guys act in situations like this? Or am I too 2010ish ;)?

Die erste Begegnung mit einem Mann mit Ray-Ban-Meta-Brille hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt.
Es war beim Decathlon an der Kasse. Ein Mitarbeiter hatte diese Brille auf. Ich habe ihn darauf angesprochen. Da sie aber scheinbar nicht an war (es leuchtete keine Lampe), kann ich ja auch rechtlich nichts machen.
Auf die Frage, wofür er die Brille denn braucht, wich er aus: "Zum Musikhören." - "Für Private Zwecke."
Dann fing er an, im Gesicht zu zittern.
Ich bat ihn, seinen Vorgesetzten zu sprechen.
Der meinte auch, er könne seinen Mitarbeitern nicht vorschreiben, was sie für Brillen tragen.
Aus meiner Sicht gehört so etwas verboten.

Als damals™️ die Google Glasses für eine Diskussion über den Verlust der Privatsphäre durch Kamerabrillen sorgte, gab es im Englischen schnell eine abwertende Bezeichnung. #Glasshole. Ich habe mich damals geärgert das es kein gutes Äquivalent auf deutsch gab. Aber jetzt, mit der erneuerten Diskussion über die Meta/Facebook/Rayban Brillen und was damit gemacht wird, gibt es dieses Wort.
