Are we scammers? I’m Abeer from Gaza, a mother of 3 children with severe visual disabilities. The war destroyed our home, our work,& our life. Today, we live in a tent, trying to provide food, water, basic needs,&education for our children. We are not asking for help because we want to depend on others, but because we lost everything that once allowed us to live with dignity. We are a real family, and our needs are real. We are forced to eat flour filled with worms, even though it is deeply disgusting. We have no choice but to endure it. But I can endure hardship because I still hold on to my future and my dream. I still need $90 to buy school supplies and clothes for my little brother and me before the school year begins.
