From paris martineau @paris.nyc Consumer Reports: What we know so far is that the recalled iceberg lettuce was sent to Walmart stores and many major foodservice distributors, including Sysco, in 27 states between June 29 and July 16. The only product names we know are from Walmart: Marketside Bagged Iceberg Salad and Bagged Shredded Iceberg Salad #cyclospora #foodSafety #explosivediarrhea #foodrecall #Lettuce https://www.consumerreports.org/health/food-recalls/taylor-farms-pulls-mexican-lettuce-linked-to-cyclospora-para-a7871344748/

For all of the other parasite-linked lettuce listed on the recall page, we don't know where precisely it was sold or served, by who, or under what brand names. That is uh... not good! Every other recall notice I've covered had these basic details available. paris martineau @paris.nyc Consumer Reports #Parasite #cyclospora #ICEbergLettuce #TaylorFarms #FoodRecall #FDA

"While there is no known outbreak currently in Canada, summer travel season is in full swing. Until the source of the contamination is identified, Lawrence advises Canadians heading south of the border to avoid eating fruits and vegetables from South and Central America, the Caribbean as well as Southeast Asia and Africa." #FoodRecall https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/article/experts-say-avoid-produce-from-select-countries-if-travelling-to-us-or-risk-explosive-diarrhea/
