According to Haaretz, the ground barrier being constructed by the IOF inside the Gaza Strip is advancing beyond the officially designated Yellow Line, which was established under the ceasefire as the separation line between areas controlled by the IOF and Hamas. Recent satellite imagery reportedly shows that what was previously a deviation of around 180 meters has expanded to approximately 400 meters near Salah al-Din Road in Khan Yunis and up to 1,300 meters at one point in Rafah. The barrier, consisting mainly of earthen berms and trenches, reportedly extends in some areas to the so-called Orange Line, entering territory that was officially designated as remaining under Hamas control. Haaretz reports that this expansion is part of a broader effort to strengthen IOF control over the Strip. While the Yellow Line announced in October 2025 placed roughly 53% of Gaza under IOF control, subsequent westward shifts of the boundary, the establishment of the Orange Line, and movement restrictions imposed on humanitarian organizations have reportedly expanded IOF influence to approximately 65% of the Gaza Strip. #Israel #Gaza #Occupation #EthnicCleansing #LandTheft #Palestine #CeasefireScam #Genocide
