It’s a known fact that I’m a HUGE fan of #reggae and #dub , especially from the #60s & #70s , so I was ecstatic to find this today at an indoor flea market downtown.
Most of these tracks are instrumental dubs, with only occasional vocal interjections from JAH, but it is heavy, bass forward dubs. Steady, hypnotic, and firmly rooted in Jamaican reggae. It’s earthy and quite meditative, like all of the best reggae is.
An absolute steal at $4.
