The hills above Glossop are burning.
Not the clearest picture I’m afraid, but I was taking it through the passenger side window as we drove parallel to the water. From the car we could see flames as well as smoke. This has been going on for several days, with fires smouldering and reigniting when the wind picks up.

The main door into 900 yr old Haddon Hall and approximately 500 years old itself. This may be one of my all time favourite old doors. I love how weather worn it is, and how it sits in such a shonky corner of the castle courtyard.
