Là je sors d’un rhume, et quand je l’utilise, ça me fait tousser et je sens que ça irrite le haut de ma trachée. I just came home from a totally chill dental exam where both doctor and x-ray tech wore masks more or less correctly. Which means I was absolutely right to call yesterday and tell them to write anything they wanted about how crazy I am, as long as they made sure to say I damn well want to see a mask on every face that comes near me. #CovidIsNotOver #MaskUp #covidcautious #wearyourgoddamnmasks

Well, the nightmare scenario has arrived. Major injury, surgical intervention & multiday uncontrolled exposure of your partner in a hospital that has no respiratory precautions despite asking for accomodations. 😢 I have a molecular test system. What's the current view of isolation & testing regimes these days? I have focused so much on prevention I have lost touch with isolation & test best practices. I understand air management. 4 more air fanatas on the way. We have done this before. Just need advice on current testing regime. Used to do 3/5 days RAT then PCR clean out. Thanks. And special nonprintable words to a medical system that covers callous disregard of risk esp to seniors with "kindness". You can mitigate risk right up to the point where the system forces you to accept it. Then you can only mitigate the downstream consequences and start again. #COVIDcautious #covid

Ok, I toss this out every 6mos or so as fedi grows... I'm gathering local connections of fedi folk in #Guelph and area. Get some low key meatspace hang outs going on.
