Hi, I’m Freyja – a Vanir #goddess of #love, #beauty, fertility, #sex, #war, #death, #gold, and seiðr. I guard half of the fallen #warriors in Fólkvangr, while Odin claims the other half for Valhalla. Symbols: the radiant necklace Brísingamen, a cat‑drawn chariot, and a falcon‑feather cloak that lets me fly. Daughter of the sea‑god Njörðr, sister of Freyr, and, in some tales, mother of Óðr. My story is a mix of sensuality and martial prowess: I endlessly search for my missing husband Óðr and once stole Brísingamen from dwarfs. Seiðr is the shamanic practice I teach. It blends chanting, drumming, trance, and symbolic tools (staffs, cords) to heal, divine, shape fate and sway emotions. Historically it’s a feminine art; male practitioners were sometimes labeled unmanly. The Poetic Edda and Prose Edda record my lessons, even to Odin himself. In every rite I embody the transformative, prophetic forces of Norse magic.

Eigentlich schreibe ich ja Science Fiction und mein »Moíra-Zyklus« muss sich hinter anderen Werken des Genres keinesfalls verstecken.
In diesem provokanten Beitrag geht es aber um eins meiner Bücher aus dem produktiven Jahr 2020. Es fällt gegenüber meinen sonstigen Veröffentlichungen aus der Reihe, war als Experiment gedacht und ist für eine sehr spezielle Zielgruppe geschrieben, nämlich für schwule Männer, die sich zur BDSM-Szene hingezogen fühlen.
Ich hätte damals nie gedacht, dass ausgerechnet dies Werk mein größter kommerzieller Erfolg werden würde.
Und jetzt zum Thema:
Einvernehmliche Vergewaltigung
… ist ein Widerspruch in sich. Punkt.
Trotzdem habe ich lange Zeit nicht erkannt, dass in meinem Buch »Empath« tatsächlich auch vergewaltigt wird, weil sich alles scheinbar so einvernehmlich und zwangsläufig entwickelt.
Zum Hintergrund: Die Hauptfigur Paolo Costa ist ein Escort mit paranormal starken empathischen Fähigkeiten. Der Haken ist hier, dass er nicht nur die Gefühle aus seiner Umwelt empfängt, sondern unter gewissen Umständen auch seine eigenen Emotionen in die Umgebung senden kann. Dieser Aspekt ist ein wichtiger Teil der Geschichte, der die kommenden Verwicklungen maßgeblich mit verursacht.
Paolo sieht verboten gut aus. Auch das ist Teil des Problems. Viele, die ihn sehen, können sich der hypnotischen Ausstrahlung seiner blauen Augen nicht entziehen.
