Someone mentioned banana peel bacon and I thought they were just messing with me. They were not. Out of curiosity I tried my own variation of this: https://eathealthy365.com/your-step-by-step-recipe-for-crispy-banana-peel-bacon/ With the ingredients I had. Maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and tamarind powder. Stirred together and marinated the peels in it for 20 minutes. Cooked for 4. Not bad. Not great, just ok.
