I wouldn't watch, cause of course I wouldn't, but it's complementary to Trek, and in a lot of ways matches Trek's "seriousness". @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @lxskllr@mastodon.world With the start of #Babylon5 being officially released episode-by-episode on YouTube, would there be interest in adding it to the #AllStarTrek viewing party rotation? https://youtu.be/HQXZ3HZ-fFk Sure, it's not #StarTrek, but it does have Walter Koenig, Majel Barrett, Andreas Katsulas, and Patricia Tallman, all of whom are Trek legends for various reasons. More and more, the #B5 story arcs also speak to many of the same touchstone issues that Star Trek has examined. I suspect a lot of us would have something interesting to talk about. One downside: The YouTube videos are US and Canada only, but we'll always have some sort of limitation. I don't have access to H&I, but we all find The Way.

TIL There was a plan to have a Babylon 5 episode be a sequel to an Outer Limits episode from 1964, with the main character coming to the station. The writer of that Outer Limits episode worked on Babylon 5, and both him and JMS clearly stated that both wanted it to be done but it never happened #Babylon5 #OuterLimits #TIL

Zwickmühle: Ich will #Babylon5 nochmal gerne sehen. Der HD remastered Release ist nur auf Englisch. Ich will aber die deutsche Tonspur (weil damals so im TV gesehen und gewohnt). Beides zusammen geht nicht. Legale Anbieter haben deutsch in SD und englisch nur mit HD Bild. Die DVD Box hab ich vor einiger Zeit gebraucht gekauft, nur um festzustellen, dass die DVDs vor sich hin rotten und unlesbar waren.
