There are some other comparable #SciFi shows that would be interesting to do occasional engagements with our #AllStarTrek peeps, such as the various #Stargate series, #TheOrville, #Sliders, #SeaQuest, and even #MST3k.

A B5 watch sounds interesting. I wouldn't watch, cause of course I wouldn't, but it's complementary to Trek, and in a lot of ways matches Trek's "seriousness".
I guess the question would be link it up to Trek, or someone runs it standalone?

Sure, it's not #StarTrek, but it does have Walter Koenig, Majel Barrett, Andreas Katsulas, and Patricia Tallman, all of whom are Trek legends for various reasons. More and more, the #B5 story arcs also speak to many of the same touchstone issues that Star Trek has examined. I suspect a lot of us would have something interesting to talk about.
One downside: The YouTube videos are US and Canada only, but we'll always have some sort of limitation. I don't have access to H&I, but we all find The Way.

I am an emeritus professor of communication and media, living in South Dakota. A colleague and I podcast about new Star Trek and we use a different Mastodon profile to promote that podcast. Does anybody know the Navy protocol for addressing an officer as “Mister”? They call Spock that a lot in TOS, but not in SNW.
I think it is the form of address for the executive officer, AKA the second in command or first officer or number one. Anybody know for sure?
