I like how #StarTrekSNW (and other new #StarTrek shows) keep the tradition alive of re-using everyday 20th/21st century objects, like the transparent garden hose used as an energy conduit/cable in "The Griffin Incident"⬆️. "Who Mourns for Adonais?"⬇️ also features such 20th century circuits and cables.
The USS Griffin did "its thing" right from the start of the #StarTrekSNW episode "The Griffin Incident". Notice how pristine the ship looks (after 8 years in a debris field) when it is first discovered by the shuttle crew ⬆️ and how it actually looks at the end of the episode ⬇️ (I pixelated Sam Kirk).
La'an punching a dinosaur.....I am speechless.

Die erste Folge der vierten Staffel von #StrangeNewWorlds war richtig super, und es war definitiv einer der besten Folgen der ganzen Serie aus meiner Sicht, aber da gab es doch etwas sehr viel künstlerische Freiheit. Da hat man historisch (Kann man das in der Zeitspanne überhaupt so nennen?) und physikalisch doch etwas in die Trickkiste für eine gute Story gegriffen.
Würde ich aber trotzdem alles geben, um in diese Zeit reisen zu können? Scheiße ja.
