#NRCserver #NRC #Opensocials

BBC News | Army to resume Ajax armoured vehicle trials after they made soldiers sick AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information. The Army will restart testing of the Ajax armoured vehicle “cautiously,” after a pause caused by about 30 soldiers experiencing illness linked to noise, vibration, cold exposure and air‑quality factors during training last November. Defence Minister Luke Pollard said an investigation attributed the symptoms to a combination of technical and environmental issues, and that all affected personnel have returned to duty with only temporary effects. General Dynamics, which builds the ££‑million Ajax programme in Merthyr Tydfil, welcomed the MoD’s safety investigation findings and affirmed its confidence in the vehicle’s performance, noting that new strict controls and soldier feedback will shape further improvements. Trials will resume in a phased, tightly controlled manner, with the aim of rebuilding confidence, safeguarding jobs in South Wales and delivering a combat‑ready, fully digitised fighting vehicle for the UK’s war‑fighting and NATO commitments. Hey #webDev folks! I have a #static site created with #Hugo. I would like to make it behave like a "one-page" web app, so that I can have a persistent audio player on the site that will not be interrupted by navigating the site. I'm open to using #iFrames, #ssi (server side includes), #ajax - whatever gets the job done. Any ideas welcome! Please BOOST for reach!
