Ah, it feels so good to be immersing myself in the novel WIP again. I'd really like to finish this draft by the end of July. Currently on 51k words with about 30k words to go. It feels doable.

I desperately want to change my legal name, but the sheer mountain of paperwork involved as a dual citizen (never mind the expense) is so overwhelming I'm not sure I have the energy to start this process even though I know it'll be worth it in the end 😢
