I expect the raw disk results will be skewed because it's still on a ZFS dataset, particularly for random read/write workloads. It would be interesting to repeat the tests on a UFS backed partition.

I'd be reasonably convinced of AGI if it can:
• Walk up and down stairs
• Play Hopscotch
• Ride a bicycle
• Play 90 minutes of football (soccer)
• Do the Macarena

I can't give you a good definition of AGI, but I know what it isn't.
• It's not memorising facts or patterns
• It's not solving mathematical equations
• It isn't winning at chess
• It isn't "creativity" (whatever that means)
• It certainly isn't fooling a human in thinking they're chatting with another human
Animals have intelligence. Computers do not.
Aaaaaa I've just watched a Youtube episode about AI and I need to info dump my Opinions!
• GenAI is not The Next Big Thing; that's just hype and recency bias
• LLMs are at the top of the curve; any improvements are diminishing returns
• The entire AI industry is a house of cards and will vanish overnight once the bubble bursts
• Neural networks are not magical and won't herald AGI
• In fact we have no path to AGI based on our current (lack of) understanding of intelligence
