Was looking at portable televisions and realized that the antiquated electronics I was perusing were coming up under Etsy links.

Etsy is such trash now. They really used to be some good shit. Handmade crafts, from all over. Now it's all shit people just want to get rid of or dropshipped junk straight from a junk-to-be-dropshipped factory.

Back in my day, you went to Etsy to buy a crocheted hat and you went to ebay to buy antique electronics. Now they're both packed with scams, scalping, etc.

@jalefkowit Me tbh. When I was a kid all the flashlights were terrible and I was very aware of that. Now you can get a much better flashlight than anything back then for 3 bucks at the gas station, and the world of higher-end flashlights is packed to the gills with insane power. A common problem for enthusiasts nowadays is pocketing a light without locking it. It turns on accidentally, and the intensity of the light produced is enough to literally ignite your pants. Amazing progress!

A few months ago, Discord was completely, solely, 100% responsible for unlawfully and immorally releasing the personal data of tens of thousands of people, including PICTURES OF THEIR ID CARDS. They achieved this through a combination of extreme negligence and hubris.
Now they're saying we all must submit images of ourselves for age verification soon.
I think the fuck not.
