I was reactivated my FB accound and I started to develop slightly compulsive behaviour, even though I could only access Facebook on my computer. I got back in touch with a few university friends, but the connections were superficial: we never actually chatted, and they’d occasionally like a post or two, but that was as far as it went. Facebook is not a space for anything meaningful, neither for professional nor personal connections.

I'm looking for alternatives to Google Classroom for my groups. Specially I'm looking for an easy way to share PDFs, post class announcements and receive and grade documents. I know I can use Moodle and install my own server but don't have the tech knowledge and I lack time to learn it. Any suggestions?

Latour and Stengers have such a sense of humor when writing about the so called Moderns.

I'm really enjoying all the #asstodon pics and the descriptions about them and their social life. Moments like this remind me why we should strive for a world in which we can totally respect animals and, if we can, avoid eating them.

I recently submitted an academic article to a peer-reviewed journal. Rereading the article, there are things I wrote that I'm not entirely convinced about. Do you usually reread your work when you submit an article, or do you wait until you receive peer feedback to check the paper again?

whenever there is an eartquake I tell myself it's no big deal, but through out the day I feel a lil shaky and anxious. some emotions can develop very subtlely without one noticing it.
