Called a dear friend who's going through chemo in hopes she had strength to talk. She did! We had 45 minutes to enjoy each other's company
A moment of self-discovery led to some introspection and eventually reminders of past traumas. It triggered a very angry poem. It felt really good to articulate that frustration.
Not enough time for full paintings, but I got out my watercolors, paper and brushes and practiced the creative mindset. That felt good, too.

An acquaintance recommended some Qigong exercises for me and they feel great!
Im closing in on the identity of a stunning blue and green butterfly that I saw yesterday. A regal greatstreak, perhaps? But the colors were different. It's a fun side quest.
My cat caught and gobbled up a very unpleasant flying insect that intruded into our home this evening, her tummy should be fine. I will sleep much better knowing it is deceased from natural causes.

My dog tried to destroy a Mexican tree frog. Both creatures are fine, the only observed side effect was several minutes of dog making silly faces at the awful taste. Frog's skin secretions are mostly just irritating, but they can make smaller dogs sick.
A friend recently diagnosed with cancer is able to get the treatment she needs.
I called one of the sweet neighborhood mamas from my early childhood days, she sang "Amazing Grace" to me.

Hired someone to come clean out my garden. He and wife have attacked my garden with energy that tells me they need the income. So now they dig and cut things I really didn't want or need dug/cut...it will be a respectable reason to pay a bit extra. ❤️ Goodbye baby zinnias! 😂
I'm taking magnesium glycinate and OMG turns out I've been deficient for most of the last 30 years. I no longer need muscle relaxants to sleep!
Time to brainstorm new garden ideas 🥰
