and there is a struggle inside of me between the desire to write why capitalism and hierarchy sucks ass and why left-wing anarchism is kinda based

@KimCrayton1@dair-community.social the idea of talent and genius in general is honestly very classist and essentialist to me. because not only it dismisses the amount of work the artist or the scientist had put to learn and improve and become who they are as a mere "they just have natural talent"; it is also a way to say that you can only be good at something or smart only if you are BORN that way. and oh boy can it be used for many ways to reinforce discrimination and eugenics
