I had an easy run over the beach and through the dunes this morning. Sky was cloudy, so I didn't see the sunrise.
But I saw cows and sheep. 😄
A good way to start the day.
Today I went to the Ardennes to score some elevation gain in the valleys of Vieux Chera, Ninglinspo and Chefna.
It was much warmer than the weather forecast, upto 22°C near the end. I didn't have enough water and was really dehydrated at the end. Not smart.
But for the rest: beautiful surroundings, hard work in the uphills and steaming down the downhills. A good day out.
Today's morning run didn't go as expected.
I set out to do dune reps to gather some elevation gain. My legs felt really heavy, and it didn't go away after I was warmed up. After half an hour I called it a day and went back home to get me a cup of coffee.
Tomorrow will be a better running day.
