@fraggle that's why they're illegally smol. They have to outgrow their crimes. They're still adorably cute, but there's more cuteness than just their looks. That's also 2/3 of my friends group.

@micefearboggis@fediscience.org We're so very close to hitting a point where people will feed a prompt to a computer that will generate a "beautiful" work of slop, that will be uploaded to the internet, where it will be auto-evaluated and given its own slop interpretation for screen readers, so people can tell a computer to make a picture, only for another computer to tell you what it thinks the picture is supposed to be, for you to imagine in your own head because you can't look at it right now. And then when you go to explain the picture you "saw" to someone else, your description becomes another prompt, and ultimately the machine is teaching the people how to think in its language, and unnecessary words to describe an object will be lost and the infinite resolution of the beauty in life, will fade away into a mad game of telephone operator and 32-keyword descriptors per object. We can already do similar without the need of computers! You can write a poem to describe an object, and give it to another person to read. No computer required to churn out the intermediary. Sorry for the rant, random stranger. I'm sure you get it.
