Not only is it wrong, as informed consent requires the "informed" part before the "consent" part, but as you just demonstrated, the information can be completely missed.
My point was to show that it takes basically no effort to come up with a low barrier opt-in solution, instead of their approach: Argue with, anger and get banned from plenty of instances.
