Cause you should probably go through that entire system now, you have absolutely no idea what it opened and allowed access to. Like, if someone told me they'd done that to one of my systems, I'd be reflashing the whole thing and loading the configs from backup.

@loke@functional.cafe @taber@woof.group basically, us taxes are filed with the IRS, and the state you live in. The problem is that us tax forms are unnecessarily complicated, even when you have a w2 and the IRS already knows all your info. Its mostly due to the whole deduction system, where you pay taxes up front, and then they send some amount back at the end of the year. The only way to directly file before this was to fill out a paper form and mail it, otherwise you have to go through a service to e-file.
