Met de mensen om me heen (vrienden, familie, collega's) organiseren we ook de hele planning van de campagne via Nextcloud. Als je dan Europees wil moet je ook laten zien dat het kan he! Naast Nextcloud leren zijn er ook al een aantal die een Mastodon-account hebben gemaakt. @DannyMekic Mogen individuele landen geen beleid aannemen dat verder gaat? Interessant! Waar staat dat? Ik heb meerdere mensen in mijn omgeving die elke keer handmatig als ze Instagram openen naar de "volgend" tijdlijn wisselen nadat we daar goeie gesprekken over hadden. Die dark patterns gaan we als ik @kimvsparrentak mag geloven aanpakken via de #DigitalFairnessAct en niet via de DSA. Alles wat niet transparant is (naar de gebruiker en naar onderzoekers), ja. Maar bijv. @murmel_social ook?

And yet when people try to organise a European Citizen's Initiative called 'Tax the rich' it only receives 349.674 out of the 1.000.000 needed signatures: https://www.tax-the-rich.eu/ . So either: 1) People agree on taxing the rich, but don't care enough about changing it to become politically active 2) Those who find this topic important don't know how to bring together people and movements along a common goal.
