Here's your reminder that there's a Gren extension for Zed.
Fikk mail fra Aftenposten idag. Visstnok må jeg fra 27. mai betale for at jeg ikke skal få mer målrettet reklame.
Så da har jeg ca. en måned igjen av abbonomentet mitt.
Now, this is interesting:

I’m so, so, so psyched for this!
Lovecraft Investigations is one of my favorite podcasts, and I can’t see what they’ll with Call of Cthulhu.
If you haven’t heard of it before, Lovecraft Investigations is a «true crime» like show told in a universe where Lovecraft’s stories happen in modern time.
It is really, really good.
@forteller nå spør du godt :D
Usikker på hva de norske grensene er, men for engelske verker:
< 7.500 ord : short story < 17.500 ord : novelette < 40.000 ord : novella
40.000 ord : roman
Finally got around to document how task ports work in Gren: https://gren-lang.org/book/applications/ports/#task-ports
Also added the fact that, starting monday, you'll be able to use Bytes in flags and ports.
@leftpaddotpy @raito @lix_project
it's not all or nothing but i certainly would like to have a replacement nix project that's not a dumpster fire that pushes out all the women and other minorities and burns out everyone constantly
Can't agree with you more.
@leftpaddotpy @raito @lix_project
nixpkgs contributions coming through lix channels
Not sure what this means, to be honest 😅
it's just one nixpkgs repo, right? So by lix channels you mean forum/chat? And the commiters are "just" nixpkgs commiters?
Not trying to be difficult. I have one package in nixpkgs but I am completely oblivious to how the project is organized.
Gren now has a vite plugin 🥳
New Language Design video is out! Topic this time is why we’d like to compile Gren to WebAssembly, and how we’ll get there. Enjoy!
Just merged concurrent tasks into gren-lang/core, which makes it ready for the next major release in June.
Andrew Macmurray did all the work on this one, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Together with task ports, I think Gren 25S is going to be a really cool release.
Just recorded a new video on the (future) language design of Gren. Topic this time is operators.
Enjoy!
If you're curious about Gren then I can heartily recommend @blaix@hachyderm.io 's Gren Twigs series on youtube.
They're short (~5min) videos that gives you a nice introduction to what Gren is, and how to write it.

As is tradition at this point, I'll be hosting a live-stream on the saturday before a new Gren release.
Surprise, surprise, that's the upcoming saturday 🥳
Which again means that a new Gren release will arrive at June 24th, one week from today.
Just wanted to remind people that in 25 hours, @blaix@hachyderm.io and I will present some cool new features of the @gren_lang@fosstodon.org programming language.

I thought it’d be interesting to talk about some of the design choices behind Gren.
In this video I’m laying out my reasoning for not having Tuples in the language.
Anything else you’d like me to talk about?
