Afternoon mastofolks.
Well, I've finally been able to identify the error that keeps occurring on #NVDA. Apparently, it is an, unhandled exception in file, error. The details of this error are as follows:

If anyone has any ideas why this keeps happening, please let me know, and how to fix it. I don't wanna have to keep restarting my screenreader every time I switch on the computer.

Well, that was fun...or not...just had my electricity safety check. Needed two new sockets and a light fitting. But thankfully, all is well now. The gent doing the work was so nice, making me laugh and feel a bit more at ease, as I struggle when work needs to be done on the house due to the unpredictable nature of such work. He talked me through the process of testing the sockets, which I found fascinating. So yeah, now that's all done, on with the day!

So I just loaded the computer up this morning, to be faced with a connection refused error from #NVDA. Apparently, #Eloquence3t host's connection was refused because the target machine actively refused it...I really don't know what that means, but I suspect it's why #Eloquence won't start up properly when I first turn on my machine?
Any ideas people, please?

Today is not a good day at all. Everything is, once again, going belly up.
Number one. Just spoken to Mum, who still has not had some important test results back. Her doctor's surgery's communications have been worse than useless. On top of that, her house move is being held up, and the solicitors are blaming her and my stepdad for not sending a document. In actual fact, that document was sent to the solicitor electronically two weeks ago.
Number two. Mum asked me to make an angel charm for her a while back. I've made one, but can I find it? Nope. So looks like a redo, and I now don't have the proper stock to make it.
Number three. I've just had to restart #NVDA after updating to the 64-bit version last night. When my computer loaded today, the default windows voice came on instead of #Eloquence.
I honestly don't know what is going on with today, but am seriously fricken done with it.

Guys, looks like Suno's down for a bit. Don't try using it for a few hours...maybe later on they'll fix whatever's up. I'm refreshing the page and it's constantly saying that something went wrong and that an error occurred. Not sure what's going on, but whatever it is, I'm hoping it'll right itself soon...as I'm enjoying testing its interface to within an inch of its life. Hahaha!

Well, today's a lovely cool day weatherwise, so making the most of it before the heat really kicks in for the summer. Having a very restful day before starting on some recording tomorrow.

Not the best start to the day here. Trivially, but not cool when the day starts off like this.
Trying to find a very encouraging post on Jesus.net that some people would really benefit from, and it ain't showing. Plus, an email I was hoping for hasn't arrived. Oh, and my computer's stuttering and fanning itself like it's mid-summer. Sheesh...
Hoping things turn around at least a little.

Ooh I love Goldwave's batch processing feature. I can just add a folder and it gets on with the conversion process quietly. Love that!
What I also love, is the fact that thanks to @daygar@tweesecake.social's patient teaching over the years, I'm able to do a lot more techy stuff than I used to. ChatGPT helps with some things, but it is nice having learned a lot of what I know from human teaching. Thanks Day!

Well, hello there mastofolks.
Again, it's been a while. Been under the cosh again this week. And it's carrying on.
@daygar@tweesecake.social having his fourth cold of the year. Other collaborations going silent. And now my computer just decided to do a massive lock-up on me. However, at least the computer is now working again. Looks like the one thing rule applies to me as much as everyone else. Hahahahaha!
