It's what I warned about for a long time now. First wave of Ai stuff was all trained on human data. How it will differentiate live image from Ai generated that was done with halucination of an Ai? It can't, it'll just train from it.

People barely have for food and bills and they are suppose to cough up 50k for EV that isn't total shit like all the "cheap" 30k ones are. @janrosenow@mastodon.energy I'd totally have an EV because of my low range daily driving, but it's financially and also ecologically more fiesible to just keep on driving a perfectly working 15 years old petrol car than bother with this stupid overpriced overcomplicated shit around EVs. That's the sad reality.

@janrosenow@mastodon.energy To make matters worse in my country, if you're buying EV and hoping for gov subsidies from eco grant, you don't get it applied at purchase time which would make that 30k € car a much more manageable 24k € car, no no no, you have to cough up full price, apply for it and hope for the best that you get it after the fact. Which can just as well not be available anymore and you just don't know it till it's denied. It's so stupid.

@janrosenow@mastodon.energy I get sick every time car reviewers start talking about cheap electric cars and then they say it costs 30 fucking thousand pounds. 30k pounds or € where I am is NOT fucking cheap for that flimsy can of metal. In fact the actual cheap petrol cars have entirely disappeared. 12K € was a cheap petrol car, a VW Polo or Hyundai i30 sized car. Well, these cars now all cost 20K € as base model. I don't remember my payckeck gaining such proportionate increase in last 10-15 years. Wtf?

Every normal medical procedure is to save the mother's life with priority if complications happen at birth and both can't be saved, which is usually at 9th month. That's where pro lifers pull their BS stats or some shit and instead prefer both to die as it happened many times already since abortion ban laws were restored. So much "pro" life...
