Great concept, except the EU has had an active pushback policy since at least the Syrian crisis, at great human (not to mention moral) cost. It’s only served to embolden right wing populists. If you offer significant discounts to your service on Black Friday, I don’t want to subscribe on any other day of the year. But come Black Friday I’m so inundated by ads, I’m more than likely to just junk all of them, so I also don’t subscribe then.
