The Five Page Paper

2 oz OJ
1.5 oz passion fruit syrup
1.5 Oz cream of coconut
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz pineapple juice
1.5 orgeat
2 oz na spiced rum
1 oz na coconut rum Shake vigorously with crushed ice. Strain into ice filled highball glasses. Drink in the sun with a reusable straw.

Cool. Now they’re launching a formal complaint against me because I refused to apologize to them for their interpretation of my words. I told them “that was not my intention and I’m sorry you interpreted it that way.” I was supposed to say I was sorry for saying the thing I didn’t actually say, I guess. I’m fucking done.

Because of personal medical stuff, vacation, bereavement and general… life, I’ve been off work more than usual these past few months and I do not miss it at all. I have colleagues who say they miss work when they’re away for a while, but if I never had to return I’d be thrilled. It makes me wonder, is it this job or would I feel this way in any job?

I just found out my local cheesecake dealer closed her doors in December. I have no more of her amazing tiny cheesecakes in my freezer. It was a great five years and I’m gonna miss her.

@pixmo@mastodon.ie Right? The way anxiety manifests is fascinating. I don’t usually cry either, but I recently had a family member die and after the MRI I somehow had ALL THE FEELINGS hit me that hadn’t been as present beforehand. It was quite the surprise.

I had an MRI to check on my MS progression today so I’d already taken the day off work. Somehow this is triggering me to actually cry as part of grieving. Wild. Being a human being in a human body who loves other human beings in human bodies is very, very hard sometimes.

My asshole employee was like “sorry to hear about your grandpa” and then spent the rest of the email telling me and my boss that I’m shit at my job. 🙄 For the record she once freaked out about my bad at their job employee saying “I’m sorry about your cat” when she had clearly told him she had to put down two cats.
