@the_wub @egoldblatt @lzg This is how I feel about negative posts about negative posts. I try not to engage, like now, as that only increases the reach. Unless we're actively pointing out someone doing harm, even with the best intent, messages like the one above really hurt my experience on Mastadon.

@poleguy @ScottEdelman I don't have a scan of the issue, but the meme made from it (similar) was pretty big and I looked previously. I used to sell original comics and comic art for a living, so I'm familiar with the series itself. The exact issue I'm unsure of. 🙂 I did not research this time except to get two semi-legit links for context and further looking.

Almost everyone I know, regardless of privacy focus, has gigabytes and terabytes of data stored that they just keep adding to. The amount of energy used just to store selfies in this world is probably mind boggling 🤯
