I've been a bit annoyed by the unability to mute live location sharing notifications every minutes. Deltachat really is the only viable #FOSS option for live location sharing between Android and iOS that I could find, thank you so much for that!

@max@mastodon.xolus.net @mxp@mastodon.acm.org OMG that's awesome! I considered getting one at some point 2-3 years ago to try it out, but they're not cheap. Instead I was able to try colorforth baremetal on an old 32 bit laptop with Howerd's ColorForth fork [1]. I love concatenative languages as well, I think the stroke of genius behind the color is less the color but more the fact that you are already doing the compiler's work by setting the right color, further improving compiler speeds. I've come accross colorless ColorForth as well, RetroForth is not exactly a ColorForth, but it does use "sigils" as compiler hints. [1]: https://github.com/Howerd/colorForth

Having tried personally I can say that it feels a bit like being at the command of a spaceship. The changing keyboard layout that adapt to the current context and what is type is super interesting too. Definitely deserves more attention! Happy that someone caught it :)

@adbenitez@mastodon.de @delta@chaos.social really? I am using version 2.52.0 of DeltaChat and I am on LineageOS 23 (Android 16) without play services nor microG, pure F-Droid. I am basically getting a notification every single time the location is updated (every minute basically). Should I open a bug report rather than a feature request?
