I used Claude #Cowork to take the contents of a web page and put it into a Notion database. But it wasn't able to fetch the webpage despite me changing my "capabilities" settings. So for now I'm pasting the source code into Claude. Any of you vibe-coding humans have ideas on this?.
Oh goodie. Google ReCAPTCHA is rebranding itself. Maybe now they can stop making me look at pictures of crosswalks....naw, they'll just make me learn another branding term.

Thanks to @Casey@theforkiverse.com I've started sort of "goosing" Claude along with expressions of appreciation and gratitude.
But they're sincere. Thanks to judicious application of AI and vibe-coding in very undramatic ways, I was way more productive last week than the week before. It took me an hour to write my weekly "here's what I did" recap on Friday.
I think there's a story to be told of how the "middle of us" are using AI - not super dramatically, but also not avoiding it.

@mwichary In addition to what others have said, SEOs used to stuff keywords into alt text and some probably still do.
WordPress lets you store alt text with an image in their media library but then I'm not sure what it does with it.

@mwichary Could have been me missing something, but I would think that alt text would depend on what page one were trying to drive traffic to, and thus would vary depending on what HTML it was being used in.

@dlx I can''t stand this either. I don't use PassKeys, but a competing product. It's super hard to figure out how to sign in. My plan is to keep all my cash in my sock drawer and change all my passwords to "password".
I keep mistakenly telling Claude Code: "git add ." when I should be typing this in the terminal window. At some point I fully expect Claude to reply with "OK boomer!"
