Credit where credit is due ... my wife's website has a contact form, which uses formspree.io to handle the form submission. They've been completely brilliant, just super-reliable and low hassle. Thoroughly recommend them, that is all, would use again.

Just off the phone from a bit of family tech support. Shout out to rustdesk! This is really good remote control software, and even though it sounds like they have a lot of trouble with spam / abuse, they're still working hard to provide a great service. I appreciate you!

As a respite from all the awful news, can I just point out how enormously happy I am with my fresh install of #fedora 43 with #Gnome? It's beautiful, very usable, and I've succeeded in getting it working *very nicely* with both Citrix and Zoom (even if Citrix did take a bit of effort).

I previously used #popos which was great for ages (22.04) but 24.04 just had too many problems to be usable for me. Being back to something really usable is a tremendous relief.

I'm a pretty long-standing user of #logseq, but watching slightly anxiously as they move focus towards database rather than markdown content. No plans to jump for now, but I've just learned that the #obsidian free licence now includes work usage, which was a blocker for me in the past. Just mentioning in case anyone else hasn't seen this!
