Maybe someone’s experience of #GenAI is partially determined by how “difficult” they perceive the task to be?
I’ve known intelligent people who would sweat bullets writing a single coherent sentence. Seeing an AI spit out pages of (nominally) coherent prose in seconds must seem like magic to them.
But as someone who writes multi-page documents as a routine part of my job, I don’t see the mere **generation of sentences** as an interesting achievement.
What are those sentences *saying*? How do they flow together? What points do they communicate? This is where LLM-generated text tends to fall down.
