i doubt that there is any value in my opining w/r/t politics, but i still read craploads of things. one recent thing was an article from #theatlantic where the author said

i mean, i’ve read all about #masculinism, but human men and women don’t don’t have different priorities. empathy is empathy.
i have watched #lssc #colbertlateshow the whole way through, and i have to say that last night’s ep (sea monkey boobs & deep questions with julia louis dreyfus) with guests julia louis dreyfus and pedro pascal was the best episode of the franchise so far.
i look forward to tomorrow’s questionnaire of barack obama to push that envelope.
podcasts and online videos offer the option of speeding up the playback: 125%, 150%, 200% or more.
so why can’t we speed up when we watch streaming tv?
not talking about live-while-you-watch, that’s fine fir sports. but what about the 99% of content that is consumed after the fact, day-after, or even years-after.
it’s not a technological hurdle, it’s the streamers. but why would they care how fast we consume their slop?
