@shauna@social.coop honestly i feel like seeing the way ai is getting used as a search replacement is a really clear example of this -- there is SO MUCH NOISE AND GARBAGE to dig through, with the worsening state of search engines, asking an unreliable robot to do that work seems like a better option than digging yourself.

okay i get not showing the edge stitches in the knitting chart (they are always "knit 3 slip marker), but why would you not show the center stitches in the chart? i feel like you moved the great lakes slightly to the left.
anyway i was practicing with my roller-skates today at the skatepark, and the whole "not being able to stop" thing is a real kicker for my willingness to practice around small children.
I love #mayorOfBimmiGardens so much and I'm so sad it wasn't picked up.

@catileptic have you seen the curvy sewing collective's pattern reviews? not super up to date, but has some good reviews of patterns, and i find the "same pattern different bodies" super helpful for figuring out what will need adjustment. also got some good articles on how to do adjustments! https://curvysewingcollective.com/pattern-review-directory/

@anikeaten@kind.social I have a three ring binder with zip pouches that go in it, and I label the pouch with size, then stick the needles in the pouch. Before I had the binder, I used gallon bags.

@caseyliss I also keep separate instances of audiobook server and kavita, for comics. Jellyfin and Plex can work for both, but there's some serious drawbacks that annoy me. (Like losing track of the place I left off in the audiobook)
