I’d also love to see your pizza recipe, as when I currently want that combo, I have to get the Pinapple Chicken Luau pizza from Mountain Mike’s (which also uses BBQ sauce). It’s good, but I bet homemade is better.

Most importantly… running macOS on my M2 iPad Pro would be amazing.

@edovia@mastodon.cloud I already managed to get it to download, but couldn’t tell you if downloading something else was the cure. FWIW, I’ve now had other apps impacted (such as today’s TikTok release), so it’s entirely likely that this is a visionOS issue. BTW, Screens 5 works great, and the hand → mouse pointer gestures are fantastic.

@edovia@mastodon.cloud Is it enabled to show for those of us running the visionOS 1.1 beta? I’m able to bring up the entry for Screens 5 in the App Store on visionOS (and it shows as “Purchased”), but there’s no option to download it. I’ve tried force quits, restarts, etc. without any effect. Any ideas as to why the download button isn’t showing?

Maybe it’s just because @ivory@tapbots.social is so wonderful, but I still vastly prefer Mastodon over Bluesky and Threads. Here’s hoping folks that are already here choose to stick around.

@ChrisLawley@mastodon.social Thank you for posting this! I had just assumed that this was “how it is now,” and didn’t bother to poke around Settings. Also switched “Up Next” to show poster art instead of a still image from the next episode, as that image was occasionally a spoiler.

That said, I’ve sort of gathered that you’re likely somewhere in my region (Central Coast, CA), so I use some of your photos/comments for area awareness.

@adamconover@mastodon.social As some others mentioned Sofa is an excellent app for books, games, movies, etc. For everything else, I’d suggest Drafts which is basically a Swiss Army Knife for text, and can be molded however you like (simple or seriously complex). It has both iOS and macOS clients, and a very active user community. Plus, it has a wonderful “arrange” mode for text: https://docs.getdrafts.com/docs/editor/arrangemode

@jvoorhees @viticci I’m one of those weirdos that actually uses the App Library, and Freeform doesn’t show up in any of the categories (I expected it in “Creativity,” “Productivity & Finance,” or “Utilities”). It shows up in App Library Search and Spotlight, though, so it can still be used. It might just be me, but this is the same situation on my iPhone 14 Pro and M2 iPad Pro. Curious if this is true for others.
