Got to see SNL dress rehearsal yesterday evening. What an incredible experience with Celeste! Saw Paul McCartney perform from like 50 feet away and was fascinated by seeing how the show was made.
This new app is great - works on Mastodon and Bluesky, great design, timeline sync across devices and supports all platforms.

The guys who created Dark Sky and later sold it to Apple are back and have a new weather app out!
Visited Bell Works today, one of Bell Labs’ former locations where much of modern technology was invented. It also serves as HQ for Lumon in “Severance”.
It was designed by Eero Saarinen, who also designed the TWA terminal at JFK, the Gateway Arch, and a lot of other cool buildings.
I don’t say this sort of thing lightly because it is impossible to know but Jim would have loved this.

@siracusa@mastodon.social have you looked at pocket-id? It is a very lightweight, passkey-first auth system. I set it up for the exact use case you mentioned - needing to reimplement auth in a bunch of tiny Claude Code generated apps was a pain. Now I just tell Claude to implement auth via OIDC (which is well known enough) for anything I create with it that needs a login.
It is a simple install in docker or you can host it on a place like pikapods for a few bucks a month.

The Apple Music credit and stuff was exciting until I found out they had no provision to use it with Apple One, for instance.
Kinda bummed about canceling this one but the CSR refresh last year was way too expensive and too complicated to make sense for me 💸
I knew Walt filmed a ton of Disneyland’s construction, and now we finally get to see so much of it. Disneyland Handcrafted was great.
Also wonderful to hear voices of people I’ve read about and seen photos of - but never knew what they sounded like!
