R-universe now generates social media preview cards for each package, like this one: https://ropensci.r-universe.dev/targets. You can also get the card manually from the /{package}/card.png API (or svg).

Super excited for the new release of #rstats V8 which now also works in WebR by running js/wasm natively in web worker (thanks to @gws@fosstodon.org ) Will release some cool new packages soon to show the potential of WASM in R ✨
We found a pretty neat way to make curl/httr2 work in WebR:

R-universe now displays the @conda@fosstodon.org version for R packages available via conda-forge.
