Sharded repodata splits large repodata files into per-project shards so clients fetch only what they need, bringing significant speedups and lower bandwidth use.
Shards that have been available on https://prefix.dev channels are now also served on https://Anaconda.org for conda-forge. Conda users can opt in to see these gains, while Pixi and rattler-build users benefit automatically!
