hey #linux people, is there a nice modern app that lets me run arbitrary scripts on a timer on my home pc? like cron style, but with regular notifications if something went wrong or failed? I'm on fedora, running vanilla gnome and i looooove flatpak.
i have some backup scripts i want to run once or twice a week and i'd love it it wasn't just invisibly configured in the text-mode bowels of my computer.
so wait blacksky in addition to running their whole own parallel network that copies all the posts on bluesky also has to make their own software? or is this a choice to like not be dependent on the stack that runs bluesky?
