my idea is that google chat should allow adding images to sent messages. I'm glad they brought the edit button to all users a couple years ago. However that only allows text editing. It would be nice to make the edit button more fully featured to include the option of adding images.

other similar platforms that have this functionality include slack, microsoft teams, discord, telegram, etc...

draft - some mid 2010s EVs could do 80 amp home charging - EV makers, please give customers the option to upgrade to 72 amp home charging for future vehicles. It's a solid for customers + generates good revenue. 40-80% (120 to 240 miles) in 2 hours (instead of always overnight) is a EV home charging paradigm shift

48 amps is ok but, carmakers - can we get a luxury upgrade option to equip new cars with a 72 amp upgrade option? 48 amps is a good default, but some folks are willing to pay for a 72 amp home charging option, so why not give us the option? 40-80% (120-240 miles) in 2 hours is a good selling point. Thank you

draft - not a replacement for sms, email or *anything* really, but, as an background thread to share occasional text and pictures with friends and family, what I value in msft teams chat (compared to sms/email) is that msft teams has elements of a canvas; e.g. with the edit button in msft teams - we have full control over any of our posts, unlike SMS/email where anything we send is out of our hands. With teams, we retain canvas control of posts even after it is sent. Coming from static sms/email, I see this as quite innovative and adds peace of mind. There are complaints about teams chat being a bit annoying to use for day to day comms. And thats why I wouldn't use it for day to day comms - that would still have to fall under more traditional channels like sms email, or teams competition. Even slack is supposed to be "better", and does everything teams can do including a canvas-like edit button that allows for text and image editing of sent posts/messages. But while slack costs money, teams free is free.

They could help their shares by courting Ubisoft Annecy to release decade old games like Steep (snowboarding go anywhere do anything) that are higher quality than todays games+ beautiful natural landscape go anywhere do anything style games that looked beautiful on PlayStation 4 in 2016. Instead of shitty fuckin games they currently offer. Honestly fuck Nintendo for not courting Ubisoft Steep harder. It was supposed to come to Nintendo switch but it never happened. And it's partially because that type of game is much better than anything currently available on Nintendo switch. It's like, yeah I go on the switch to play fuckin Mario maker 2 for 5 or 10 minutes and make shitty levels. And yeah I do that because I don't want to fuckin turn on the PlayStation and boot it up and wait for steep to load blah blah blah. But it's been 10 years. Is the tech not there yet to load something like Ubisoft Steep on Switch 2 hardware in 10 seconds or less?

draft - thoughts on anc active noise cancellation earbuds?

It seems the basic idea is they remove low frequency low level "white noise" like the hum of air conditioning or maybe they might slightly help on an airplane.

But for a loud ass gym with loud ass music, $30 anc earbuds do kinda maybe feel like they go beyond non anc earbuds reducing low levels of the music like the bass a bit, but the overall effect feels maybe like it only helps like "5 percent" so essentially not at all. I mean, I suppose that's better than nothing for $30 anc earbuds.

I guess what I'm getting at is $50 or $75 or $100+ dollar anc earbuds - are they gonna just basically have the same anc or with slightly more "help" at 10 or 15 percent instead of just 5 percent? Or does any anc earbuds go beyond "helping" and really reducing decibels so you can actually listen to quiet songs as if you were walking outdoors on a quiet day -

- more like a canvas versus "just" a messenger because:

- edit not only text but also images and files - this allows people to share quietly without having to send brand new notifications to the recipient every single time which:

draft - does google have any type of chat platform that allows adding images to sent messages? microsoft teams allows this but google chat doesn't. we can edit text, and even remove images from sent messages in google chat, but not add them. its important because the beauty of the ability to add images to sent messages is that, you can still "passively share" content without having to make annoying new notification

draft - Microsoft teams chat with friends and family - in case you didn't know, by default, teams chat will send out daily emails to the recipient something like "person A is trying to reach you on teams" or something like that, so, if the recipient doesn't want those emails, in teams settings, click "notifications" and then under "other notification types", there's "emails", tap that, select "missed activity email" and instead of daily, choose "off".

draft - regarding EVs with the "on/off" or "start/stop" button that's not really appropriate -

how about a settings option for the car not to "come to life" including HVAC etc for like 5 seconds with a thing on the screen saying something like "hvac will turn on in 5,4,3,2" with a big touchscreen button to tap "no" so then it just stays off - no physical button needed

Carmakers - please bring back 80 amp home charging options to all future vehicles!

It's more fun to charge 40% to 80% in 2 hours instead of 4 hours.

Plug in, go on computer, eat dinner, unplug, re-park, get ready for bed.

Unplug it and re-park it all *before* getting ready for bed. In contrast to having it *always* be plugged in overnight. I, and many others would buy the upgrade to 80 amps to always be able to unplug and move our EV after 2 hours.

it gives users a little peace of mind to exchange ideas without feeling everything has to be rigid ... reddit should at least offer the \*option\* to subreddit moderators or whatever. to give their subreddit the \*optional\* (doesn't have to be default) ability to give \*users\* the ability to edit their post titles. or even if when making the edit, the post could lose all or a large portion of its karma points. this way, people might \*not\* want to edit the title, but at least the \*could\* if they want to. or like for smaller communities with not many upvotes, it might not really matter anyway. and for bigger subreddits the option could be disabled so it wouldn't be an issue. it would still function how it does now where title edits cannot be made. it would just work on subreddits maybe that meet certain criteria like subreddit size, subreddit type etc... Update - or even at least give us ability to edit post titles for when we post to *our own user profile page*.

i myself am hesitant to make a post sometimes, because I'm wary that whatever i type in the title will be "set in stone". and because of how the internet works, I, and I think others don't like the "set in stone" thing to have to be the way things are. its why web based platforms like microsoft teams, google docs, discord, etc, and a bunch of other web based messengers and related platforms are nice.

100 amps EV home charging

some company should only sell EVs that come with 100 amp home charging standard on all their vehicles. 32A is ok, 48A is nice for a single EV home, but many folks may have only 32A and below. which is ok in one-EV households. but only 16A or 32A, and even 48A, which helped get us to a society with one-EV households ... - I don't think is going to be the driver toward making two and three car households switch to all EVs. and one issue is that, if a household has 16A or 32A, they may not be willing to upgrade to 48A. whereas if they buy a car with 100A, the difference and speed of charging would be big enough where even those with 32A or 48A may upgrade to have 100A chargers at home. that would be fast enough to add 80-90 miles in one hour, or 150-180 miles in 2 hours. that takes charging from an always overnight setup in 32A and lower, to something that never has to be overnight, which I feel is important if we're talking about having multiple EVs per home.

Apple - homepod mini - Please allow us to pair a physical button Siri / Bluetooth remote. When we are half asleep in bed, we like to be able to have the track and volume control d-pad physically right under our finger so we can press next/previous track or volume up or down while half asleep instead of having to yell out commands or look at a bright screen and wake ourselves up

Also, please market the homepod for users of home exercise equipment. It's more fun to listen to a small room filled with music than to shove the audio directly into our eardrum. This is just one benefit to enjoying music/exercise/cardio at home, but part of the issue is that some homeowners are "against" home exercise equipment, and we need apple to help market the idea so that even those of us who live with the homeowners who are currently against having dedicated exercise rooms can "see the light" by having apple, with its billion dollar marketing budget, help to plant the seeds better than we can.

I'm ready for Google pixel to come out with a phone with user accessible batteries. I feel like I should be done trying to "stan" for the idea that uncomfortable crappy qi2 magsafe batteries can be the successor to the adage of "I'll bring a few filled up spare phone batteries with me today and then at 5pm when the battery is empty I'll pull out the empty battery and put in a 100% full battery in 10 seconds.". I'm ready to do that again. I don't want to rely on wall charging. The issue was solved 15 years ago. We need mainstream phones to do user accessible batteries again.

48A (48 amps for home charging) should be normalized. It is a more malleable lifestyle and quality of life improvement to always add 90 miles in 2 hours than 32A or less where it is more of always an overnight thing. I would say that 80A (80 amps for home charging), so that a user can always add 150 miles in 2 hours at home. But for that, I hope more EVs start either shipping with, or at least give an option to buyers to include either 60A or 80A charging at home.

a qi2 case that also has 5 pogo pins in the center of qi2 that do direct energy 60 watts with a wire inside the case that takes the energy and sends it directly up into the phones usbc port. Case and corresponding magnetic battery have speck click lock and corresponding pins
