@alice@lgbtqia.space Appreciating the vids, thanks Are there any decent resources for locking without proper lock picks & levers? Perhaps an odd question but my kid is in full zombie apocalypse prep mode, has noted one may not always have access to a lockmaster 6000v3+ kit. We have opened some basic locks using paperclips, tiny screwdrivers, needles and bending little scraps of metal but suspect better minds have mulled over this issue. After writing all of that it occurs to me I should probably just add the word 'prison' to the search strings as it works for everything else.

@jcrabapple@dmv.community Since Mother Earth radio vanished more peeps streaming vinyls is needed methinks.

They don't make 'em like they used to.

@maddoxa@flipboard.com @faith-maddoxa I think this is some really weird protestant lore from Calvin and co.

@piejr@gardenstate.social I've been moving some stuff to proton over the past year or so, and some stuff into self hosted stacks. Not rushing anything, feel far less dependent on google now but I still have an android phone...plan is to get things in order over the next year or so and hopefully move to a less evil phone OS and then cut the google cord.

@piejr@gardenstate.social I'm not averse to using google, I am less happy being heavily reliant upon them. The Proton ecosystem is nice for testing the waters. You can spin disposable identities from nothing and have a full email/office/vpn/password/calendar/llm/cloudstrorage/apps/wallet and can switch on/off gmail forwarding. Let the family keep on keeping on and see if you can decouple a little without chaos ensuing.

@anselmschueler@ieji.de It's been a theme for some time. The Gospel of Matthew's Jesus was preaching to whip off your balls for God. Justin Martyr says his mate was writing to the governor for castration permission. Origen is said to have done this. The desert fathers and mothers, the monastic traditions, St Hildegarde interesting in this area too. Much of the early Christian tradition seem rather aware of ending the generational trauma of the flesh...but the Nicene machine and others like it need fresh flesh laid upon the alter of God at massive scale to retain power and the laity provide this.

@intelgraphy@infosec.exchange The foundation is computers.
