I guess the problem is people just giving up, and many buying bigger cars. Which stay stuck in traffic, politicians feel they need to build and widen roads, decreasing walkability. And repeat.
No individual can change it on their own. But it would be nice to break that cycle.
Cities that solved some of these issues as examples is a good thing. I’m sorry it feels scolding.
