@GNUmatic @mastodonmigration @metin I ended up doing it wrong - learned a bunch of stuff, both on syllabus and through having access to the 90s Internet and alumni, my grades were awful except for a couple of subjects that I really engaged with. Only getting a desmond had zero impact on my career thankfully, probably wouldn't work as well now, but I was able to go straight into work, and while very green, within 6 months of working in industry had started to really get how things worked (aside from the complexities of BGP and some DNS which remained some sort of dark magic for another decade or so working in the industry)

@dacig@mastodon.social @QasimRashid@mastodon.social no, There isn't US support, nor NATO support for Ukraine, just European and some commonwealth (au/nz/can). Ukraine has turned the tide, but there are no ww2 style blitzkrieg any more as drones have changed modern warfare completely, so there won't be a repeat of the Kherson success.

@dacig@mastodon.social @QasimRashid@mastodon.social a proxy US war where the US is literally doing nothing much to aid it's proxy? That's complete tanky nonsense. The Ukraine war is just Putin land-grabbing again, same as Chechnya, Georgia, Moldova and Crimea. The US failed to really provide any substantial support and also prevented use of the newest hitech equipment to protect it's interests in russian petro-chemical industry

@kentparkstreet1 British art and fans have always politely not looked too closely into Banksy identity, not because it was especially hard to find, but because it was part of the art and was the wish of the artist. This isn't journalism its just like telling a 6 year old there is no santa. Fuck these tabloid hacks.

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social it's also a way for trump to aid putin - he used it as an excuse to drop sanctions, increase oil prices and divert air defense material from Ukraine

@bgalehouse@mathstodon.xyz @kevinr@masto.free-dissociation.com @lcamtuf@infosec.exchange unless the training data is entirely clean of the original implementation, it's tests and documentation and any forks or other derivatives of it, it's still not a clean-room implementation. Research has shown that you can reconstruct entire book chapters with prompting because they were pulled into the training data.

@flxtr@social.tchncs.de @Lazarou@mastodon.social I've seen a ton of analysis reports done by agents and just trusted with little or no verification, looking for wrong database lock strategy, to reasons for errors in logs to data quality issues. It would not surprise me at all that someone pointed an agent at a database or something like crystal reports or even just a bunch of spreadsheets and asked it to summarise them based on a list of KPI, the results would genuinely be that bad without a bunch of hard work.

@mattburgess@infosec.exchange It's really not hard to produce a very good intelligence report from freely available reports and verified video footage of macabi fans bringing several days of racist violence and appalling behaviour around their matches, somebody just phoning it in instead of doing their job is very much a problem here
