Die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (🔒) berichtet über diese sogenannte Agri-#Photovoltaikanlage, die direkt neben der A44 entsteht und ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt zwischen dem Forschungszentrum Jülich und RWE ist.

In diesem Jahr haben wir 10.600 Quadratmeter Rasenflächen in lebendige Wildblumenwiesen verwandelt. Das entspricht etwa 3,5 Prozent der gesamten Rasenfläche auf unserem Campus.

Seit dem 1. August steht Prof. Astrid Lambrecht an der Spitze des Forschungszentrums Jülich. Bereits seit 2021 als Mitglied des Jülicher Vorstands tätig, ist sie entschlossen, einen Fokus ihrer Arbeit auf die Weiterentwicklung und Modernisierung des Zenrzums zu legen. Ende Juli ist eine indische Rakete mit dem Satelliten #ARCADE an Bord gestartet. Der Satellit, entwickelt von Expert:innen aus dem Forschungszentrum Jülich und der Bergische Universität Wuppertal, beherbergt ein wegweisendes Fernerkundungsgerät. Bald erwarten wir erste Messdaten, die neue Erkenntnisse zum #Klimawandel liefern sollen.
