@rmondello passkeys in bitwarden are so annoying compared to passwords app. If passwords app had multi account, so I could swap into say work account vs personal that’d be when I drop it.

@jgeorge@oldbytes.space everything I’ve found is mid-oughta IBM blade servers and Lenovo workstations. Along with POS systems for machine automation. A XT in the executive suites was a rare chest opening.

No old mainframe at least that I’ve found. Though it seems there was one somewhere, so it’s possible it’s there and I just haven’t found it.

Got a “new” monitor at work a Samsung LS32A70. How the fuck do I fix this horrible color smearing while scrolling? Driving me insane. Kind of want to go back to my old what I thought was shitty monitor. #displays #monitor #screens

Is 10k a reasonable quote for 12 strands of fiber to 4 IDF’s in a warehouse around 2k ft total, plus 4 fiber patch boxes. No armored fiber, No raceways installed. 🤔

I think for that I’d just learn to do the damn terminations myself.

Does anyone have a suggestion for wirelessly getting iPhone camera video over to OBS with audio input selection for wireless mic packs? We heart droidcam but the lack of audio selection is a bummer. (Tried both Bluetooth and connected DJI packs it always goes to internal mic). Vdo.ninja was close, but a bit laggy and not as high quality in our testing. I tried experimenting with Larix Broadcaster and SRT in OBS, which looks like it’d be perfect but was getting 3 sec of delay 😓

We run a few streams off laptops (I know I know. I’ve fought against it.) and they are absolutely cooking themselves to death in hot warehouse. Want to have just the iPhone connect to remote a broadcast machine.
