@kleine_helden@rollenspiel.social Einer meiner (nicht mehr aktiven) Charaktere hat eine Mutter (genannt "Jetty"), an die er immer Briefe schreibt (OT sind das recaps der RP-Sessions). Als er von einer Expedition zurückkam, wollte er sie besuchen und musste feststellen, dass sie weggezogen ist um Fischzüchterin zu werden. Stattdessen traf mein Char seinen Onkel Flip in ihrem Haus an.
Erst ein Abenteuer (und einen fehlgeschlagenen Aufstand später) hat mein Charakter dann seine Mutter an ihrem neuen Wohnort besucht.

I have two problems with this joke (although I have to admit I like this bait-and-switch humor). First: It implies that mentally ill people are transphobes. This is not the case. Second: It implies that transphobes are just transphobes because they are ill. I don't want to give them that excuse. They are not (necessarily) ill. They are just assholes.

@skeptix_ev Nachdem es so viele Jahre gebraucht hat, bis sich überhaupt genug Politiker gefunden haben, diese Reform auf den Weg zu bringen, bin ich (positiv) überrascht, wie schnell und schmerzlos dieser Gesetzentwurf jetzt durch den Prozess läuft.

@amydiehl It is interesting how close this is to how computers do multitasking: For the longest time, they also could not do two things in parallel, so they switch between tasks very fast. But of course, they also have to switch contexts which takes some computational effort :)

Der eigentliche Plan der Bardin war aber, dass die Druidin in Äffchengestalt gegen den Magier antreten sollte, ohne dass der Magier das merkt. Die Druidin konnte aber auch kein Schach.

Ich optimiere sie dann zunächst mit optipng. Dann mit zopflipng. Dann wandle ich sie in verlustfreie WEBP-Dateien um. In den vielen Fällen ist da noch viel Platz nach unten.
Ihr müsst mir helfen. Am besten, ihr komprimiert eure Dateien direkt effizient. Nutzt optipng, oder besser zopflipng oder noch besser webp (in der verlustfreien Variante). Nur wenn ich beim Komprimieren keine Verbesserung mehr erlebe, kann ich damit aufhören.
PS: auch bei verlustbehafteten Formaten kann man optimieren.
Ich gebe zu, ich habe ein Problem. Ich habe einen Kompressionsfetisch. Nicht so wie bei xkcd (https://xkcd.com/598/), sondern hauptsächlich für verlustfreie Kompression. Der Inhalt ist egal.
Ich habe eine Zwangshandlung entwickelt, dass ich Bilder im Internet, von denen ich glaube, dass sie gut verlustfrei komprimierbar sind, herunterlade. Und dann schaue, wie gut sie verlustfrei zu optimieren sind.

And if they change the layout, I would have to redo the script. So I'd rather add the 26 dates per year for the yellow bin (which is the only one that I personally have to care about) manually.
Until my town gets an API for these dates.

@grickle@mstdn.social I never understood why it is “birds and bees” in English. In German, it's “Bienchen und Blümchen” (“bees and flowers”) and that makes much more sense to me given that bees pollinate the flowers.
