🎸🤘 Hexcess began as a sketch for a sci-fi heavy metal band logo. It’s an experiment using hexagons and the novel forms built from them to construct a high-contrast, condensed blackletter on a grid. In the grand tradition of heavy metal logos, readability wasn’t a high priority but fun certainly was. Use it for posters, album covers, book titles, zines, and legal fine print. 🥴

@guayabito@mastodon.cr That was my immediate reaction. I had it calibrated perfectly (for me) before. Still haven't resolved the issue but was able to make it good enough to work, for now. Something is very wrong with the display settings in this latest MacOS update.
