@paco@infosec.exchange in the US? For the UK, Zapmap not only knows all the chargers, but allows comments and reporting of issues, so I can check the reputation of chargers. Incredibly valuable.

Not sure I’ve ever cried so much as over Agatha, our rescue chicken who has died suddenly, before she had a change to regrow feathers. These ex-commercial egg hens are often in such an awful state even though they’re “free range”. She had six months of happy foraging though, at least. #chickens #backyardchickens #rescuehens

@brianvastag so I reckon my 1500kg car empty gets 0.12kWh GPE for 100feet. So for 4400 feet that’s 5.3 kWh if I’ve got it right.

@brianvastag the thing that’s really blowing my mind a bit recently is that the extra energy to go uphill, which we regain loads of on the way down, seems like it’s very in line with the theoretical gravitational potential energy you get by lifting the (1500kg) car + passengers up by that much. I calculated it because my son is learning about in school. If I didn’t live in one of the flattest regions of England I’d probably be going up and down hills to get better data.
